Abstract

Education costs are financial resources provided and/or required for educational unit costs. One of them is through the Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS) program which originates from the reallocation of reduced fuel subsidies to the education sector as one of the education services provided by the government to elementary-level schools throughout Indonesia. BOS is important for education in Indonesia because this allocation can reduce the financial burden on education stakeholders. Another advantage of the BOS program is that it is handed over to each school and is managed in accordance with Permendikbud No. 1 of 2018. Thus the BOS budgeting in all educational institutions is very important for the smooth running and also the achievement of Indonesia's national education goals.
