Abstract

Improving the quality of education is a must, because education will try to give birth to a generation of excellence and character. Therefore a healthy and planned process is needed, to get a good process, quality assurance in education is a primary need as stated in the Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 57 of 2021 concerning National Education Standards as amended by Government Regulation Number 4 of 2022. This study aims to produce a quality assurance concept that can be implemented in educational institutions, considering this urgency, in order to obtain a comprehensive concept, this research uses literature studies with a literature approach, with the aim of exploring ideas or concepts regarding quality assurance in educational institutions. Based on this study, it was concluded that quality assurance as a system will ensure the sustainability of the quality of an educational institution, an indication of a quality educational institution is that it meets national standards (BSNP) and meets the expectations of all educational customers (teachers, students and parents). If quality assurance can run effectively, it is certain that the quality of the institution will always be good and can be improved.
